Our Mission
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Animal Management Innovation Lab is under the Biological Systems Engineering under the leadership of Dr. Tami Brown-Brandl, her group of graduate students and student employees. We strive to develop integrated tools to assist livestock producers in making management decisions for the improvement of animal care, well-being, performance and labor efficiency. We emphasize the importance of making sure the individual needs of each animal is being met. Through research and innovation, we hope to enhance the way farming is done, benefiting both producer and animal.
